Ski Bum
During the winter months Cameron can usually be found skiing at Big Sky. Earlier in his life he worked as both a professional ski patroller and a PSIA-certified instructor, spending many seasons helping others develop confidence and skill in the mountains. Those years shaped a deep respect for the craft of skiing and for the mountain environment itself.
Today Cameron skis primarily for the pure joy of the sport and for the friendships that grow around it. After thousands of days on snow, he still finds that the mountains offer something new each day: a line through fresh powder, a technical challenge on steep terrain, or simply the shared experience of a good run with friends.
Although he no longer formally teaches, Cameron still enjoys skiing with people who want to improve and experience more of what Big Sky has to offer. His background as a patroller and instructor gives him a particular appreciation for helping skiers build confidence, especially those returning to the sport after time away or those curious about exploring the expert terrain for which Big Sky is famous.
Above all, Cameron believes that skiing at its best is about more than technique. It is about the quiet beauty of winter mornings, the camaraderie of the chairlift, and the small moments of magic that appear when you are out there.
